jschool, creepers, and summer is ending =.=

Today was my last day of Japanese school. *sob sob* I've made many new friends there and I am very privileged to have learned from my excellent teachers, O-sensei and H-sensei.
I woke up late this morning, so I had to rush and skip breakfast just so I can get to school on time. I got late anyway LOL. I'm always late to Japanese school =.=
Anyways, we did tea ceremony today! It was really fun and spiritual and relaxing. Before we drank tea, we were served delicious red bean and white bean sweets, which I loved! ^^ Although the green tea served afterward was a little too bitter for me, I did appreciate its earthy taste. I even got to mix the tea with that whisk-looking thing and make it all frothy :3 The opposite flavors of the bean sweets and the tea gave a nice balance and felt very refreshing. For 30 minutes we had to sit in a certain way with our legs folded and parallel to each other, which was kind of like torture... How do Japanese people sit like that -.- LOL. I really enjoyed it though. Maybe in the future I'll study tea ceremony and live a long, healthy life just like the Japanese women at my school :3
I also played with E-chan's cute baby hamsters today and I'm lucky they didn't bite me! They bit H-chan instead LOL.

I'll miss this textbook! :P
It's so cute isn't it? I bet at night it looks like a haunted house.
I like the cool desks in our classroom. My cell phone camera is bad quality -.-
After saying goodbye to my friends and teachers at school, I went across the street to a Korean restaurant 'cause by that time, I was hungry and became dehydrated from the 90-degree weather today -.- I finished eating curry rice and walked to the bus stop. This guy came up to me and asked me in broken English what time it was. He said he's learning English and that he came from Guatemala. I thought it was the end of our small talk, but he continued to ask a bunch of other questions about myself like my age, where I came from, and how long I've been waiting for the bus. I was beginning to feel extremely uncomfortable. Later on when the bus arrived, he followed me and talked to me some more. He asked what I'm do tomorrow and if I had a cellphone. Then, he asked for my number (which I refused to give). -.- He asked for my last name (which I was not about to give either) so I just made up a name, hoping he would leave me alone. That's not all. He told me I was beautiful and handsome and pretty. EW. What a freakin' creeper... You disgust me, old man.
Feeling very suspicious and violated, I immediately got off the bus at my stop to catch a different route when I realized I had no more bus money. Shiet. With no other option, I had to walk down this longgggg boulevard to get home. I walked under the sweltering heat of the sun with my sizzling feet and my sweaty t-shirt with the single motivation of having a icy glass of water the minute I get home. Luckily, I brought a sun umbrella with me :P

This is from last Sunday (8/21) after the Nisei Week fesitval.  I danced the Bon Odori for 2 hours =.= It was amazing.
I've been volunteering over the summer as well. I have one more volunteering day before school starts :P
I've also been going on dates with my bf :) I want to post his picture too, but I didn't get his permission yet :P
School is going to start soon! Gotta get everything finished :)

I love going to the library

I went to the downtown library to do my summer reading assignment today. I only read for about 10 minutes in the arts and music section because I was getting distracted, so I left and took the escalator down to the lobby. I went to the adorable library gift shop and bought an overpriced greeting card for my aunt because she sent me a package of really cute clothes and sandals and I wanted to thank her. :p

After that, I decided to explore the library a little bit. So I went to the science and technology floor of the library and I passed by an area with comfortable armchairs where people were reading. In one of the armchairs, there was one guy who was probably a bit too comfortable. He was asleep and was snoring louder than growl of a passing motorcycle. It made me laugh. xD

But there's another thing that made me laugh ...and feel violated at the same time. In the computer area of the library's sciences floor, there were these desk cubicles where people were working and using their laptops in privacy. Admittedly, I was being nosy and I peeked at the computer screens of the people inside the cubicles. I probably shouldn't have done that... There was a guy in his cubicle who was looking at internet pictures of naked men. O.o Needless to say, I was thoroughly creeped out. I thought that maybe I was just hallucinating when I saw that, so I went back and double checked. xD  Nope. My eyes haven't deceived me.

After that interesting experience, I went back to doing my summer reading in one empty desk cubicle. I read for about another 10 minutes while getting distracted by the mixed noise of people playing video games, people listening to whiny ballads, and hobos laughing by themselves. Maybe I'm a little bit easily distracted when I'm reading, but is that seriously what people go to the library for? But I wasn't really angry or irritated while I was there. I actually wanted to join in on the orchestra of anonymous noise. In the momentary quiet of the library hall, I felt the bizarre urge to make hentai sounds... but I fought against it. xD

I decided to go home after all the fun I had in the library. :P I was feeling a bit hungry since I hadn't eaten lunch, so I went to a food court nearby. When I was about to pay with my new debit card, I realized that I haven't activated it yet. Shit. The only money I had in my wallet was in Philippine pesos. I was freakin' starving. "Uh, I'm sorry. I'll come back next time." I told the cashier as I awkwardly walked out of the food court. He was pretty nice about it, though. That was so embarassing. Good job, Monica. Now you can't show your face there anymore. I'll just eat when I get home... I thought as I inadvertently crossed the street to take the public bus back home. I didn't notice there was a guy on a bicycle going towards my direction, but I got out of the way just in time. "Move!" the guy on the bicycle said angrily. F*ck no, he did not just tell me to move. That's f*cking rude... Oh well. So I waited at that corner to cross to the other side of the street. The bicycle guy was crossing it too. I heard him say to me, "Learn how to get out of the way, you bitch!!" Is this guy serious? What the f*ck is his problem? He must have a metal pole up his ass, I thought but I was too shocked to utter a rude word in return. He biked away and I hoped that he would get hit by a bus or something. Seriously, even if you've had a shitty day it doesn't give you the right to talk like that to anyone. F*ck that guy. What an asshole. I waited for the bus to come while thinking of equally rude comebacks I should've said. Somehow, tears started welling up in my eyes because I was so pissed off. What a pussy. xD

I love going to the library.

Blah Blah Blah post

Good morning! It's August already.

I don't know if I'm the only one who does this, but every time I look up a word in the dictionary I end up reading the definitions of other words that catch my attention. So instead of taking a minute to find the definition of a word, I end up taking five minutes. The English language is just so interesting to me. (: I'm also starting to read my psychology textbook that I ordered online a couple months ago. I wasn't able to read it much since it was finals week during school at that time. But now I have plenty of time to study it. I'm researching colleges and universities that have prominent psychology programs as well. I'm fishing for a specialized psychology major too. Something that really interests me.

Anyway, I've started eating oatmeal and fruit for breakfast. I hope it'll make a difference in my diet and I hope I'll continue it for as long as possible without getting bored. I've also started drinking green tea instead of juice or plain water. I'll try to exercise, too.

I played this nerdy game with my bf recently. It's called DDTank. Yeah. xD It's pretty fun actually.

My sisters will soon be leaving the house to go back to their respective universities. Yes! I'll have my own room again. I'll make it as neat as possible :3

Well, I'll get back to eating my breakfast. See you!
