My butt is numb. I've been sitting on the sofa of USF's chill out area for almost two hours, reading Huckleberry Finn and deciding whether this college is for me. My sister is in her nursing class right now and she won't let me go to J-town by myself. What a butthead -.- I guess she's just trying to keep me out of trouble like the good, doting sister she is by attempting to lock me in her dorm and making me stay on campus.
In fairness, I already went to J-town San Francisco just yesterday. And I'm practically penniless after buying so much food and snacks and shopping for souvenirs at Daiso. I'll try to post pics of my adorable purchases as soon as I get home on Friday.
Earlier this week I went to the NewPark Mall with my sister and my aunt for some retail therapy. I entered the mall unaware that one store would forever change my outlook on shopping. The store was called First Impression. No pun intended, but it left a great one. In accordance with the season, First Impression carried the cutest spring fashion. The best part: everything costs less than $15. Their dresses, blouses, shorts, skirts and accessories were not only adorable, but were also affordable. The style is comparable to that of Forever 21 and Charlotte Russe but the clothes are at a fraction of the cost. When my sister and I first walked in, we were overwhelmed with the store's collection of floral patterns, dainty lace trimmings, and feminine designs. It wasn't the bad kind of being overwhelmed, but more like a "Where have you been all my life?" kind of feeling. Anyways, you'd have to see it before you believe me.
Hm, this has been a long and picture-less post. I hope it was at least a little bit interesting. I promise I'll get to posting up the photos of my new purchases when I get home! Until then, have a wonderful week. :)
08.06.12 UPDATE
However charming the clothes at First Impression were, they were just that--charming at the first impression. Many of the clothes I purchased started to tatter after only 3 months. The fabrics were thin and low-quality despite their floral-patterned allure. With this post, I officially UN-RECOMMEND First Impression.
