Mabuhay! I'm back from Manila (Part 1)

It's good to be home again! I enjoyed my family vacation to the Philippines very much. It was a fun and relaxing experience for me. I was able to spend plenty of time with my family in Manila and Tacloban and I also did lots of bargain shopping. I'm looking forward to returning soon :)

This is the first of a 3-part post about my Philippine vacation. :)

The airplane ride from California to the Philippines was not the most pleasant. I was in a crowded row beside my parents and there was little room to stretch my legs. The plane from Manila to Tacloban, however, was much more comfortable. I grabbed the window seat and was able to snap a photograph above the tropical islands.

Aghhhh... On the flight back home to California, there were some really noisy Asian kids sitting behind me! The girl behind me kept talking super loudly and kicked the back of my seat several times. I was pissed. So I did something kind of bad :3 Before dinner is served on the plane, you're supposed to have your seat upright so that your tray is flat. When the food was served and everyone began eating, I decided to give that girl behind me a little trip. I reclined my chair as far back as it could go while she was eating. It was glorious. But I did feel a little bad for doing it. Oh, well. It was a sweet payback. {:

There were a lot of stray nyan cats and dogs I saw in the Philippines! Most of them were pretty cute :) I saw kittens running around on the beach too!

I got a hair trim and a pedicure too while I was there. I also got my eyebrows threaded and now its much less messy and more shapely. I like them.
